Mr. Ayal Vogel has more than 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience in the Homeland Security industry. Most recently, he has been vice president of business development at Intransa, a leader in providing servers and storage for video surveillance. Prior to that he was executive vice president of Identica, a vascular biometric company. From 2001-2004, Mr. Vogel was the president and CEO of Barantec, Inc, for which he directed the engineering and R&D group to successfully bring more than seven new system solutions/card readers to market within two years. At Barantec, Mr. Vogel also created OEM agreements with the largest access control manufacturers in the security industry, including Lenel (acquired in 2005 by United Technologies Corp.), Texas Instruments and Tyco International. Immediately after 9/11, Mr. Vogel was the first to market with an electronic/access system solution to secure airplane cockpits, including those of Continental and Delta Airlines.

Prior to taking the helm at Barantec Inc., Mr. Vogel held management positions for ADI/Honeywell (1993-2001) and Visonic (1991-93). He also held managerial positions for two other security companies, and worked as a consultant for Oz Vision and then joined their advisory board. Mr. Vogel introduced Oz Vision to all their largest OEMs, which provided them with customers and references needed to raise $6 million in venture capital.He presently sits on the advisory board of secure strategy group a New York City and Washington based banking and advisory firm dedicated to backing and building market leaders in the security and defense technology sectors.
